Jamaica's Murder And Crime Rate

Jamaica is a very beautiful country located in the Caribbean it is surrounded by the sea, it as  lots of rivers , plenty fruits trees the land is very fertile. To me Jamaica is one of the most beautiful places on earth, Jamaica is a paradise.

Behind this beauty is a monster that has plague Jamaicans for decades, that monster is CRIME. Every four hours a Jamaican is been murdered either by the hands of gunmen or the hands of the police, what is causing all this killings is a mystery.

Jamaica is not been invaded by a next country, we are not in a civil war so why do we have such a high and ridiculous crime rate. In my opinion as a Jamaican i think the reason for this high crime rate is poverty, when people are poor they can be easily take advantage of, they can be used to do bad things.

Jamaica don't make guns so where are all these guns coming from to our shore, 95% of the murders committed in Jamaica is by the GUN. The government as put in many tasks force to combat this crime monster but they have all failed with little or no result, the crime monster is all ways one step ahead.

I have seen many families loose there love ones to this monster, the life expectancy of Jamaicans now stands at 30 with this monster. Crime is no longer limited to a certain area in Jamaica, it is affecting all level of society.

If you should interview every single Jamaican they can tell you that they have lost a family member or a close friend to this crime monster. The word on every single Jamaican lips is WHO NEXT.

Why Big Companies Failed

We have notice over the past decade a lot of so called big companies have failed, the main question one could ask is why have these companies gone under is it bad management, lack of vision or is it that they have gotten too relax and failed to see what is going on around them.

Bad management can be very critical to any company, without proper planning any company can go under weather they are cash rich or not. With the huge competition in the global market place companies have to make sure that they hire the right team and the planning and budget as to be right.

Lack of vision as cause may companies to fail, one big example is Kodak. They failed because they where not seeing the future the right way, they where not promoting new products they just stuck with there instant film for decades while other companies like Cannon an Fuji took took advantage of the digital camera.

Many companies top management staff have gotten too relax over the years especially when they are operating in a monopoly environment.Take for example Blackberry they where once king of the smart phone industry, they became very relax and allowed other companies like Apple and Samsung to creep in the market and capture the lion's share of the industry.

Most companies that once operated in a monopoly market environment has taken the decision to fire there old management team and bring in new blood. The main reason for this is because they are not used to operate in a competitive market place.

Most girls like to use the term financial secure, when a man is financial secure he is more attractive than the guy who is not. Most men brag about achievements, drive expensive cars and talk about there earning power to get ladies attention.

When a guy is broke it is so hard to get a girl, she wont laugh when you try to give a joke, as soon as a guy with money comes along she will laugh at the simplest thing he says. Most girls grow up in a fantasy world where they dream of a prince who comes along and marry her and take her to a beautiful palace and they live happily ever after.

Can I Really Save Money In These Times

Things are really ruff when i mean ruff i mean ruff, living in a third world country like Jamaica is not easy. With the devaluation of the dollar and the high cost of gas, food and energy it is so difficult for the normal Jamaican like myself to survive.

Take for instant it takes at least $6,000 Jamaica dollars a week to feed a family of 4 (wife a husband and two kids), you have to find another $5,000 Jamaica dollars a week to buy gas for the car. It cost a average of $4,000 dollars a week for lunch money for the kids, electricity and water bills comes to another $12,000 Jamaican dollars a month, rent or mortgage would run you another $30,000 Jamaican dollars monthly.

A middle income earner in Jamaica gets $15,000 Jamaica dollars before tax a week that is equivalent to 148 US dollars , so do the maths and ask yourself the main question can you really save. It is now obvious why so many Jamaicans or in such high debts.

Jeff Bezos Amazon founder buys Washington Post

The Washington Post Company has agreed to sell the newspaper to Amazon.com founder and chief executive Jeff Bezos.
Bezos will pay US$250 million for The Post and all affiliated publications to the Washington Post.

This sale will result in the end of the Graham family four-generation ownership of one of America's leading news sources.
According to the Washington Post, the "Seattle-based Amazon will have no role in the purchase; Bezos himself will buy the news organisation and become its sole owner when the sale is completed, probably within 60 days.
