Jamaica's Murder And Crime Rate

Jamaica is a very beautiful country located in the Caribbean it is surrounded by the sea, it as  lots of rivers , plenty fruits trees the land is very fertile. To me Jamaica is one of the most beautiful places on earth, Jamaica is a paradise.

Behind this beauty is a monster that has plague Jamaicans for decades, that monster is CRIME. Every four hours a Jamaican is been murdered either by the hands of gunmen or the hands of the police, what is causing all this killings is a mystery.

Jamaica is not been invaded by a next country, we are not in a civil war so why do we have such a high and ridiculous crime rate. In my opinion as a Jamaican i think the reason for this high crime rate is poverty, when people are poor they can be easily take advantage of, they can be used to do bad things.

Jamaica don't make guns so where are all these guns coming from to our shore, 95% of the murders committed in Jamaica is by the GUN. The government as put in many tasks force to combat this crime monster but they have all failed with little or no result, the crime monster is all ways one step ahead.

I have seen many families loose there love ones to this monster, the life expectancy of Jamaicans now stands at 30 with this monster. Crime is no longer limited to a certain area in Jamaica, it is affecting all level of society.

If you should interview every single Jamaican they can tell you that they have lost a family member or a close friend to this crime monster. The word on every single Jamaican lips is WHO NEXT.

Why Big Companies Failed

We have notice over the past decade a lot of so called big companies have failed, the main question one could ask is why have these companies gone under is it bad management, lack of vision or is it that they have gotten too relax and failed to see what is going on around them.

Bad management can be very critical to any company, without proper planning any company can go under weather they are cash rich or not. With the huge competition in the global market place companies have to make sure that they hire the right team and the planning and budget as to be right.

Lack of vision as cause may companies to fail, one big example is Kodak. They failed because they where not seeing the future the right way, they where not promoting new products they just stuck with there instant film for decades while other companies like Cannon an Fuji took took advantage of the digital camera.

Many companies top management staff have gotten too relax over the years especially when they are operating in a monopoly environment.Take for example Blackberry they where once king of the smart phone industry, they became very relax and allowed other companies like Apple and Samsung to creep in the market and capture the lion's share of the industry.

Most companies that once operated in a monopoly market environment has taken the decision to fire there old management team and bring in new blood. The main reason for this is because they are not used to operate in a competitive market place.

Why Would A Girl Dump You For A Guy Who has Money

Girls like flashy cars and jewelry, they like to go shopping and buy lots of fancy clothes and shoes, so now you  see why a girl would dump you for a guy who as money. A lot of girls stay in abusive relationship because of the money they can get from there spouse.

Most girls like to use the term financial secure, when a man is financial secure he is more attractive than the guy who is not. Most men brag about achievements, drive expensive cars and talk about there earning power to get ladies attention.

When a guy is broke it is so hard to get a girl, she wont laugh when you try to give a joke, as soon as a guy with money comes along she will laugh at the simplest thing he says. Most girls grow up in a fantasy world where they dream of a prince who comes along and marry her and take her to a beautiful palace and they live happily ever after.

But what if the guy she dump you for gets broke what would she do lol.

Can I Really Save Money In These Times

Things are really ruff when i mean ruff i mean ruff, living in a third world country like Jamaica is not easy. With the devaluation of the dollar and the high cost of gas, food and energy it is so difficult for the normal Jamaican like myself to survive.

Take for instant it takes at least $6,000 Jamaica dollars a week to feed a family of 4 (wife a husband and two kids), you have to find another $5,000 Jamaica dollars a week to buy gas for the car. It cost a average of $4,000 dollars a week for lunch money for the kids, electricity and water bills comes to another $12,000 Jamaican dollars a month, rent or mortgage would run you another $30,000 Jamaican dollars monthly.

A middle income earner in Jamaica gets $15,000 Jamaica dollars before tax a week that is equivalent to 148 US dollars , so do the maths and ask yourself the main question can you really save. It is now obvious why so many Jamaicans or in such high debts.

The Washington Post Company has agreed to sell the newspaper to Amazon.com founder and chief executive Jeff Bezos.
Bezos will pay US$250 million for The Post and all affiliated publications to the Washington Post.

This sale will result in the end of the Graham family four-generation ownership of one of America's leading news sources.
According to the Washington Post, the "Seattle-based Amazon will have no role in the purchase; Bezos himself will buy the news organisation and become its sole owner when the sale is completed, probably within 60 days.

How To Start A Business

Starting a business takes a lot of planning and research, there is no business that you can go into that is easy. That's why you have to plan properly and do a proper research about what you are planning to venture in.

The first thing you have to do is identify the field that you want to invest in, make sure it is a field that you have a passion for and know about. To me it makes no sense you start a business that you know nothing about it simply wont work. If you know about computers like i do then you can start a computer business because you understand the market more and also knows the consumer demands which is the key to any business.

Secondly you have to raise the capital, what i do is try to avoid the banks because they can be a pain, it is not easy to be paying back loans when you just start out. Reason being is a new business is always slow and you definitely want to keep your monthly expenses minimal. If you have to get finance from the bank try and get the lowest interest rate, and use a bank that you can work with, please avoid loan sharks.

Try and get yourself familiar with the consumers, as i have mention above the consumer is the key to any business without them you will fail. Tell people about what you are doing and try to get a feed back you will be surprise what you could learn from the public.

Pricing is very important, you have to set your price for your goods or services to be competitive in the market place. You can not set your price above the current market price else you wont be competitive, you cannot set it way below the current market price because you wont make a profit so you have to be very careful.

Go online, the easiest way to start a business and with low capital is online when you doing a online business you don't need a store so right there you save on the rent. Online business require small amount of staff or none at all, that is a great advantage for any new business.

Steps To Take When Buying A Establish Business

Buying an establish business can be good decision or it can be your worst nightmare, there are steps that one should take when buying a business that has already been established.

The first step i would take is to review the last 3 years financial statements of the company, as to have a full view of where the company stands in terms of assets and liabilities and also to see how profitable the company as been operating over that period.

Second step is to review the receivables  and payable s of the company, it is very important to know how much the company owe and how much money is owed to the company. With that information you can plan ahead with the collection of outstanding debts and also make special arrangements to pay  creditors.

Third step is to interview management, it is very important to interview management staff they are the ones that makes the major decisions in the company. They can outline to you where the company is coming from and where the company is heading, with this information you can plan the way forward.

Fourth step is to keep a meeting with regular staff, you need to know what the staff are facing so that you can have a good relationship with the staff. This is very important in order to improve or maintain good work ethics.

Fifth step is to do a field study of the business you need to know the day to day running of the business, you need to create a personal relationship with the customers because they are the life blood of the company. You will find out the weak and strong areas of the company.
